Winter. There’s something about the crisp air and the brightness that snow brings – it just makes you feel renewed. Granted, you’ll be reaching for a hot cup of tea and cozying up to the fireplace more than usual, but even those activities have their own sense of joy.

Keep warm with accessories
You don’t want to be shivering on your way to the chapel, so select a fur stole or wrap to keep you warm. This is a classic look and you’ll definitely get additional style points. Not to mention, unlike your gown, you can easily wear this piece for years to come.
When it comes to buying vintage fur, you’ll want to look for the following: inspect for any signs of missing or thinning fur and check the seams. Make sure you like the fur’s texture because this won’t really change over time. And also, if you don’t like the lining (or it needs some TLC), that can be easily replaced or repaired. Be sure to store in a cool, dry place that gets some decent air circulation. As long as you follow these tips, you can enjoy this wedding accessory for years to come.
Gloves are another quintessential retro accessory that helps you pull together a great winter look while keeping you toasty. Much like when you buy fur, inspect the construction. Check for stains. Find your color story – blend in or go bold
Snow coats the world in a dreamy, white blanket. With nature as your inspiration, you are presented with a couple wonderful opportunities for your ceremony’s decor. You can embrace the elegance of a neutral palette and stick with shades of white/cream (accenting with muted metallic tones) or you can add rich color tones into this mix to nicely contrast the subtle backdrop of neutral.
Simplifying your color story down to the family of neutrals (with or without the addition of a deep hue), will help guide your planning process and make your event work even easier.
