Greetings Cause A Frockus family and welcome to our new vintage weddings page! We are pleased that you are joining us on this journey through celebrations past. Like you, we find vintage weddings beautiful and inspiring. Not only do we love the styles and customs, but there are economic and environmental advantages to hosting retro-inspired events. Living green is easy when you are breathing new life into stunning gowns. As any shop owner will tell you, these dresses are anxiously awaiting a new story – your story. What a beautifully poetic way to set the tone for your event and embody the modern, unique bride. The inspiration for this new page came from our belief that giving new purpose to old treasures fills our heart with joy – why not invite that same joyous energy to your wedding?

So what exactly are we up to in this new series? We will continue to bring you the best of the best: interviews with experts and inspiring posts covering your entire wedding preparation from A to Z. Think of us as your trusted guide, exploring each vintage decade with you and uncovering the most thorough advice. Our ultimate goal is to help you plan your amazingly beautiful day. With Cause A Frockus by your side, you can figure out every detail with ease. We understand how challenging and stressful preparing for this day can be, so let us help you. Besides, you have more important things to take care of – like cake taste testing! (That’s our favorite part, don’t you agree?)

Please let us know if there’s a question you want answered and don’t find it here – we will happily work to find you the best answers. As we build this community, it’s important that we are staying true to your needs – so write a comment, send us an email, and keep us posted!

Cheers and may the vintage be with you,

Becky Oeltjenbruns
